The Big Picture
Rolling Snowball is an international visual art exhibition which presents works by contemporary artists. Rolling Snowball/9, Djúpivogur brings together artists working across the full spectrum of disciplines, including drawing, photography, painting, sculpture and video. The exhibition continues as a joint project of the Chinese-European Art Centre (CEAC) in Xiamen, China, and the municipality of Djúpivogur.
Thirty-one renowned artists from Iceland, China, America and Europe from different generations are invited to present their works in this years exhibition.
The Rolling Snowball/9 is held in the old fish factory, Bræðslan, in Djúpivogur.
It opens on the 15th July and is open daily 11:00-16:00 until 20th August. Free entrance.
