Women entrepreneurs visit the Embassy

Members of the Icelandic Association of Women Entrepreneurs (FKA) visited the UK recently where they met with their counterparts in London. The FKA was founded in 1999 and serves as a support network for Icelandic women in business where they can promote and exchange ideas.

The members visited the Embassy and were received by Ambassador Benedikt Jonsson. Hafdis Jonsdottir, chairwoman of the FKA, addressed the guests before they enjoyed short talks by William Symington, Chairman of the British Icelandic Chamber of Commerce, Kristin Fridgeirsdottir PhD, Assistant Professor at London Business School and Gay Collins, Executive Chairman, 30% Club.
