Danish liferaft maker Viking displayed one of their heated inflatable liferafts at the meeting in London, which is made according to specifications of the Icelandic Maritime Administration (pictured below). In order to withstand the conditions in the North Atlantic in wintertime, liferafts on board Icelandic fishing vessels feature superb insulation in the bottom and the roof of the liferaft, stabilisation mechanisms and a floating anchor.
