Icelandic play "Kitchen to Measure" on stage in April

The Icelandic play “Kitchen to Measure” by Vala Thorsdottir, based on short stories by Svava Jakobsdottir, will be performed in Turkish (with English subtitles) by the Ala Turka drama group at the Arcola Theatre in Dalston from 11.-13. April 2012 at 19:45.

Kitchen to Measure, Ordinary Horror Stories is based on five short stories by Icelandic author Svava Jakobsdóttir and first produced by the National Theatre of Iceland in 2005 and 2006. The play is an invitation on board of a rollercoaster which takes you through absurd, grotesque, humorous and dramatic situations of entirely normal people.
