Sjón - Free the Word!

Icelandic author and poet Sjón will be speaking on Saturday 12 April 2008, 5.30pm at London’s Royal Festival Hall (Spirit Level), Southbank Centre (Tickets: £5).

Nominated for an Oscar for his lyrics in the film Dancer in the Dark, Sjón (his name means ‘vision’ in Icelandic) is a long-term Björk collaborator. He will be in conversation with Victoria Cribb, the translator of his novella, The Blue Fox, which won the Nordic Council Literature Prize 2005.
