Iceland Symphony Orchestra's debut at the BBC Proms










This summer, the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra will make its debut performance, Classical Tectonics, at the BBC Proms. Under the direction of Ilan Volkov, the orchestra will perform Geysir by Jóns Leifs and Magma by Haukur Tómasson. Jonathan Biss joins the orchestra for Schumann's Piano Concerto and the concert closes with Beethoven's Fifth Symphony. The performance takes place at the Royal Albert Hall on Friday 22 August.
