Icelandic black comedy 'Under the Tree' hits UK and Irish cinemas

Icelandic black comedy 'Under the Tree' hits UK and Irish cinemas on 10 August. When Baldvin and Inga's next door neighbours complain that a tree in their backyard casts a shadow over their sundeck, what starts off as a typical spat between neighbours in the suburbs unexpectedly and violently spirals out of control.

On at the Barbican, Picturehouse Central, Curzon and the Irish Film Institute.

5* Irish Times: ' even Donald Trump’s wall couldn’t made a dent in the simmering feud at the black heart of this killer – literally and figuratively – Icelandic comedy'

4* Independent: '...a macabre and darkly funny slice of Icelandic noir – a bit like Fargo done Reykjavik-style'
