The Iceland Design Centres purpose is to achieve more appreciation of the importance of good design and architecture for society. The Iceland Design Centre publicizes outstanding Icelandic design in Iceland and abroad, and strives to contribute to its marketing. The Iceland Design Centre organizes events, exhibitions and conferences, which are conducive to professional debate and learning in the field of design.

Design Forum Finland is the promotion organization of Finnish design. It is maintained by the Finnish Society of Crafts and Design, which was founded in 1875. The premises of Design Forum Finland are at no. 7 Erottajankatu Street in central Helsinki, opposite Dianapuisto Park in the heart of Design District Helsinki. A small exhibition space and Design Forum Shop also operate in these premises.
