Steinunn Sigurðardóttir at the Nordic Design Today 2012

The newly opened exhibition Nordic Design Today 2012 features the work of Icelandic fashion designer Steinunn Sigurðardóttir. The exhibition takes place at EMMA museum, Espoo Museum of Modern Art, which is the one of the largest museum of modern art in Finland. The exhibition is being organised in cooperation with the Icelandic Embassy in Helsinki.

Nordic Design Today 2012 features the work of five Nordic designers and design groups. Over the past five years they have all won the highly prestigious design prize, the Torsten and Wanja Söderberg Prize. Steinunn won the award in 2008. The other designers are Harri Koskinen (Finland), the design group Front (Sweden), Henrik Vibskov (Denmark) and the group Norway Says (Norway). 

From Helsinki Nordic Design Today 2012 will travel to other cities, first stopping at Berlin, Germany. The exibition is open in EMMA until September 16 2012.
