Work by Steinunn Thorarinsdottir displayed in Australia

A sculpture by Icelandic artist Steinunn Thorarinsdottir will be on display in Sydney at the famous Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi exhibition which is held annually. At the exhibition, artworks are installed at the beach along a coastal walk between Bondi and Tamarama creating an impressive interplay between art and the ocean. Works by 113 artists are at the exhibition this year including 36 from overseas. Steinunn‘s sculpture will be displayed alongside pieces by Sui Jianguo from China, Sir Anthony Caro of Britain and others. The exhibition is held from 18 October to 4 November. About 500.000 visitors are expected to visit the exhibition which has been put up annually at this place for 16 years.
