Icelandic chef triumphs at Beijing International Culinary Festival

Volundur Snaer Volundarsson won the first prize for foreign cuisine at the Beijing International Culinary Competition recently. The competition included individual and team contest and Mr Volundarsson won the former.

Volundur, who is also the author of culinary books named Delicious Iceland and Silver of the Sea, participated in the non-Chinese part of the competition among 200 participants. The Chinese cuisine part included 2000 chefs. The competition took place at the Olympic Green in Beijing.
