The Icelandic Mission to the EU would like to invitie you to see and experience for yourself the wonders of renewable energy in Iceland. This unique poster exhibition, "Meet Iceland, a pioneer in renewable energy" is currently in the InfEuropa, Schuman14 until March 18th 2011.

During the course of the 20th century Iceland has gone from being dependent on imported coal to deriving 80% of primary energy from renewable sources. The solution to the threat of climate change is based on diverse clean, renewable and environmentally sound sources of energy. We in Iceland are fortunate to have access to an abundance of natural resources and to have learnt how to use them in a sustainable manner to our advantage. Through this exhibition we are pleased to be able to export our know-how on all aspects of renewable energy.

From April 4th to 15th, during the European Sustainable Energy Week the exhibition will be in the Committee of the Regions Rue. Belliard 101, 1040 Brussels.

We hope that you enjoy this unique and educational exhibition.
