Bach's festive Christmas Oratorio performed in the main hall of Harpa, Reykjavik's splendid new concert hall.
An international roster of soloists will be appearing along with the Motet Choir of Hallgrimskirkja and The Hague International Baroque Orchestra, playing on period instruments.
The Hallgrimskirkja Motet Choir celebrates 30 years of music along with its conductor Hörður Áskelsson in performing this Christmas favorite, accompanied by some of the best singing talent of the younger generation from home and abroad, including Stephan MacLeod (CH), Herdís Anna Jónasdóttir (IS), Daniel Cabena (CA), and Benedikt Kristjánsson (IS).
