The Geothermal Energy Association (GEA) and Gold Level Sponsor, Islandsbanki, will be holding a one-day Geothermal Energy Finance Forum on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the Ritz-Carlton, Battery Park in New York City. This program will bring the finance and investment community of New York City together and provide a tutorial on geothermal energy investment with top experts and major players in geothermal development and finance. The day’s agenda includes presentations and panel discussion on; geothermal technology, geothermal project development, financing and investment, risk mitigation, employment, government finance and incentives, legal and regulatory issues, and case studies from developers and financers with recent success stories.
