The Embassy of Iceland in Washington D.C. represents Iceland vis-a-vis the United States, as well as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, El Salvador, Guatemala and Mexico. Icelandic Honorary Consulates are located in all these countries, see a list below.
The role of Honorary Consuls is to protect and furthering the interests of Iceland and Icelandic nationals as appropriate.
