Vigdis Palsdottir Attaché Leaves the Embassy

Vigdis Palsdottir, currently the longest serving employee of the Icelandic Ministry for Foreign Affairs with over 40 years long career, is leaving for Iceland after having served at the Embassy of Iceland in London.Vigdis will be taking up residence in Borgarnes, where she grew up and will continue to work for the Ministry in Iceland.

Vigdis served the Embassy of Iceland in London from 1983 to 1986 and again from 2004 to 2012. The staff of the Embassy offer much gratitude for all her good work and wish her the best of luck in all her future endeavors.

Petrina Bachmann, another experienced staff of the Foreign Ministry, will succeed Vigdis at the Embassy. Petrina is coming for her third tenure at the Embassy and should be remembered by the senior members of the Icelandic community in London.
