Icelandic artists at Liverpool Biennial 2012
Two Icelandic artists will participate in exhibitions at Liverpool Biennial 2012 this autumn.
Sigurður Gudjónsson will participate in the exhibition Reykjavík, Nuuk, Tórshavn - North Atlantic Pavilion, which is part of Biennial Festival 2012's City States, taking place 15 September - 25 November.
Liverpool Biennial's website reads:
The inaugural North Atlantic Pavilion will bring together artists from Greenland, Iceland and the Faroes. The region explored in the pavilion represents a unique interaction of diverse localised cultures spread over a vast area that nonetheless have all at one time in recent history been officiated over and represented to the outside world by the Danish flag.
