Emiliana Torrini and Jaguar perform in the UK

The half Icelandic singer Emiliana Torrini will perform at the Tate Britain Gallery on 3 June.

The performance is part of a program at the gallery called “Late at Tate”.

The Icelandic group Jaguar will perform at Jazz Café in Camden Town on Saturday 4 June.

Jaguar, Iceland's James Brown approved internationally acclaimed seven-piece retro-funk ensemble, return to the Jazz Cafe to showcase their third album, Hello Somebody (out 2nd May).

Formed in the summer of 1998 by six people with a mutual interest in performing 70's funk, soul, latin and jazz, Jaguar have gone on to record two instrumental and have become regular guests at clubs across UK and Europe.

In addition to selling out the Jazz Cafe at their debut London show in 2003, the ensemble have played New York's Central Park, are regular crowd pleasers at the Iceland Airwaves Festival and have supported James Brown, who described them as "Fantastic".
