Yrsa Sigurdardottir at the Bookworm International Literary Festival in Beijing
The Icelandic crime fiction writer Yrsa Sigurdardottir will partitipate in the Bookworm International Literary Festival in Beijing this weekend. The Bookworm is a bookshop and cafe, which organizes an annual literary festival that has established itself as an international festival with a wide outreach in China through its three locations in Beijing, Suzhou and Chengdu.
Yrsa’s first lecture at the festival will be about her books and the Nordic tradition for crime fiction in the evening of 18 March. She will also participate in a panel discussion about the underworld in literature along with the South African writer Sifizi Mzobe and the Australian writer Chris Womersley from Australia in the evening of 19 March.
