Discussions focused on the economic situation in Iceland and its effect on IBF members. In spite of the gloomy atmosphere as a result of the global financial crisis, members were urged to seek new opportunities. At the same time, members agreed on the importance of creating synergy among IBF members to jointly cope with the various difficulties that they are facing.
Mr. Petur Yang Li, IBF Secretary General explained to members that the Chinese term for "crisis" is made up of two characters, i.e. 危机 (Wei Ji).
