BETEL: 100th ANNIVERSARY GALA DINNER
The Betel Home Foundation was established in 1915 and now runs two Care Homes for the elderly, in Gimli and Selkirk, Manitoba. A Gala Dinner was held 26 September in Gimli.

Two Icelandic leaders visit Manitoba and North Dakota
Eygló Harðardóttir, the Minister for Social Affairs and Housing in the Government of Iceland and Agnes Sigurðardóttir the first woman Bishop of the Icelandic Lutheran (state) church visited Manitoba, Canada and North Dakota, USA this summer.
