Iceland and Venezuela established diplomatic relations in 1981. The Icelandic Embassy in Ottawa also serves as the Icelandic Embassy for Venezuela. The Venezuelan Embassy in Oslo, Norway serves as the Venezuelan Embassy to Iceland.
