The spatula technique works of Linda Steinthórsdóttir are abstract and minimalist. During light change the relief-like structures begin to head a life of its own, are subject to transformation. Also the diversity of Iceland's nature is for Linda Steinthórsdóttir again and again a resource of inspiration and omnipresent in her works. She uses various materials from her home country, as for example ash from the eruption of the volcano "Eyjafjallajökull".
