Oraefajokull Glacier, Austur-Skaftafellssysla District
The top of Öræfajökull glacier is the highest peak of Iceland, Hvannadalshjúkur (2119 m).
Öræfajökull glacier has erupted twice in historic times, in 1362 and 1727.
